Dr. Jack Torobin

Originally a native of Montreal Canada, Jack came to California in the early 80’s and settled in Los Angeles to pursue a career in communications.   Following graduate studies in corporate communications and psychology, Jack founded COMsciences to bring cutting edge ideas to the consumer electronics world.  Jack’s career began in R&D for Nortel in Canada working on the early speech synthesis and speech recognition systems.  He has over 30 years experience in telecommunications, consumer electronics and marketing, having served as advisor to the senior management at major corporations and governments the world over

He holds a doctorate and masters degree in communications research from the Annenberg School for Communications at the University of Southern California as well as a BSc in cognitive psychology from McGill University in Montreal.
